The 12th of May may be the saddest day in recent years. On hearing the news of the earthquake, I was close to tears, especially when I saw the photos of the people who suffered from the quake. So I have made up my mind to be a volunteer and do as much as I can to help them.
My major is psychology, which I think will be helpful to the children, and I can make full use of what I have learned to release their pain and comfort them. In addition, I can do other volunteer jobs, such as nursing, teaching, and so on.
The earthquake was really terrible, but it will never get us down. No matter what kind of troubles we confront, there’s no doubt that we Chinese will be stronger and more united.
